COMMITTEES

The HOA Board is charged with managing and administering the operations of Fashion Plantation Estates II&III in a cost effective manner to assure that the subdivision presents a neat, well-maintained appearance, and one that provides a safe environment for its residents. The Board is to review and resolve issues in fair manner, referring to the “Protective Covenants” for the basis for its decisions, while exercising flexibility as standard practices and social norms may change. The Board is to exercise good judgment and provide proper balance so that home values will be preserved and residents can enjoy their homes and the neighborhood without infringing on the rights of their neighbors. In order to effectively run a homeowners association, an HOA board, even if it has a manager, can’t do everything. It needs the help of members getting involved and forming committees. While the Board is ultimately responsible for the decisions in the Association, it can give authority and responsibility in some areas. The key is defining clear guidelines for the committees and getting people involved in areas that interest them.

Architectural Review Committee (ARC) ***PROPOSED***

The purpose of the (PROPOSED) Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is to provide assistance in establishing and overseeing neighborhood standards and reviewing and deciding upon change requests, in the realm of the Association’s architectural scheme. The ARC is dedicated to promoting an aesthetically appealing community through the conscientious development, re-evaluation and enforcement of our neighborhood's architectural standards. It's function is to monitor compliance with the Covenants and the Design Guidelines of Fashion Plantation Estates II&III, and evaluates homeowner requests for exterior modifications to their property.

Recreation Committee

The purpose of our Recreation Committee is to bring neighbors together through enhanced community spirit and conduct annual neighborhood recreational activities that provide family fun and bring the neighborhood together, and to seek out additional opportunities to provide activities and facilities for the enjoyment of the residents of Fashion Plantation Estates II&III.

Garden Club Committee

Within Fashion Plantation Estates II&III, we recognize residents through the Garden of the Month award, and great Christmas decorations. The most important endeavor is our horticulture partnership with the Stonebridge Property Owner’s Association. The Garden Club Committee works with the Association to maintain the seasonal flowers, trees and shrubs at entrances and endcaps to both phases of our subdivision. All Garden Club members are also HOA members. We ask and encourage all residents to support this committee.
